Q-Bake™
product line represents the state of the art of the vision
technology for the inspection of baked goods. These machines
can be used for the on-line and off-line control and measurement
of colour, shape, surface and volume of bread, buns, biscuits,
crackers and many others baked products. Thanks to the
use of a modular hardware and software architecture, it
is possible to configure an inspection system that fits
any customer specific needs.

The
system checks and classifies the conformity of the products
inspected using previously learned models. An indefinite
number of models can be defined. Each model corresponds
to a given product or to a set of different products.
A semi-automatic self-learning procedure sets the characteristics
of the model. The configuration of the system is made
simple thanks to use of advanced algorithms and classification
schemes. These techniques are particularly effective to
carry out complex tasks like the automatic conformity
classification of natural products.
For each inspection batch a report is automatically generated
which contains all the inspection data. The reports can
be printed, viewed and exported through a LAN connection.
The measurement data are also stored on a standard database
for off-line statistical analysis.
The products classified as defective or out of tolerance
can be rejected from the line. The colour model inspection
unit can be used for the real time control of the oven
through the integrated Oven Feedback Control Unit. |
